Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!

I've just had a hot bath. Really hot. The kind of hot where you have to lower yourself in really slowly to stop the water from scalding you! The kind of hot where there's no need to use a body scrub, because the water burns off the dead skin cells anyway!

It was fantastic! Now I feel all clean and fresh!

And reason number 1,863 why it's good living on your own:

You can leave the bathroom door open so that you can listen to music while just lying there!

Monkey bath!

aka one where you go "ooh! ooh! aaah! aah!" when you lower yourself in! ;-)

And I've done the door-open-music-on thing once too. Vicky was at work or away for the weekend, so I stretched my multiplug socket thing as far as it would go, plugged in my little CD player/stereo box thing and stretched that as faras it would go and it JUST reached the bathroom door.

Bubble bath, classical music... then the CD started skipping. Finally had to hop out of the bath and switch it off.

I take baths a few times a week in hot, hot water.

The really weird thing? I usually have less than two inches of water in the tub -- my legs aren't even covered!

I love hot baths. I use to have this wonderful huge deep bathtub set in green marble with arm rests and a reclining end. Yeah. Then I moved. But... yeah there is nothing redeemable about this bathtub. I guess I should just be happy I have one. One of my friends only has a shower stall. *shudder* Another good thing about living on your own is playing Raffi (yes, the children's singer) at 3am while making steamed chai latte milk and eating chips.

My first thought was, "Monkey bath!" as well!

And I love having music drifting into the bathroom while I'm in the bath as well...

Wait, I do that now... and I live with three other people.

Hmmmm...
